Love thyself

There’s this common wisdom that to be loved you first have to love yourself and that by implication if you do not love yourself you will be unloved. Fortunately common wisdom is wrong.

You do not have to do anything to be worthy of love.
You do not have to do anything to be loved.
In fact no matter how badly you think of yourself, I will love you. Out of the fullness of my heart I will hold you in the highest regard.
